Tickets Now Available For 1st Annual Woman of Vision Salute Honoring Nicole Holofcener

We are pleased to be announcing an exciting new Adrienne Shelly Foundation event we're hosting Wednesday November 2nd at 7PM with the Museum of Modern Art. It will be held at the MoMA Titus 1 theater at 11 West 53rd.  It's our first annual Woman of Vision Salute. Our inaugural honoree is the very talented filmmaker Nicole Holofcener (Walking and Talking, Friends with Money, Lovely & Amazing, Please Give). We'll be screening her film Lovely & Amazing, followed by an informal discussion with her and actor Catherine Keener. We'll also be awarding our Director's Grant with IFP and screening a short montage of Adrienne's work. Tickets are $150. 07 Grantee Maryam Keshevarz's CIRCUMSTANCE Opening Friday 8/28 in NY/LA. Congrats Maryam!

Congratulations to 2007 ASF/Sundance grantrecipient Maryam Keshevarz, whose film CIRCUMSTANCE opens this Friday in new York and Los Angeles. The film won the  Audience Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival. Great article in today's (Sunday 8/21) NY Times. ASF's Latest Grantee Amy Wendel's "ALL SHE CAN" Opens in NY/LA Friday
ASF/Nantucket Film Festival grant recipient Amy Wendel's terrific film ALL SHE CAN premieres this Friday, July 29th in NY (The Quad) and LA (Laemmle Sunset 5) for a week and then moves to other cities.  Please see below for relevant information including screening times, recent awards and the film's trailer.  (Note: it opens in San Antonio, TX on Friday, August 5th, not the 29th of July.)  The film was acquired by Maya Entertainment at the Sundance Film Festival this year.
