I am so grateful to the Adrienne Shelly Foundation for its support of my documentary Freeheld. ASF’s finishing funds came at a critical time when I was close to completing my film, but at a time when I was exhausted and had limited resources to finish.
The Adrienne Shelly Foundation helped get me across the finish line. Freeheld was launched into the world where it was greeted with an Academy Award®, 15 other film awards, television broadcasts, and a DVD release.
The Adrienne Shelly Foundation allowed me to stay true to my film all the way along this exciting path, and for this I will always be grateful.
